Hala Khouri began her journey towards yoga with her studies in psychology and religion at Columbia University. She is now earning her doctorate in Somatic (body-centered) Psychology. She has been teaching the movement arts for over sixteen years. Hala brings a playful and grounded awareness into her classes while emphasizing presence and non-judgment. Her roots are in Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga, dance, Capoeira, CORE energetics, and the juicy mystery of Life itself.
